Illinois 30-Hour Managing Broker Pre-License Topics
This course provides 30 of the 45 hours of instruction in real estate topics required of all applicants for a managing broker license in Illinois. The course prepares learners for the Illinois licensing exam and provides the practical business knowledge necessary to be a successful real estate managing broker in Illinois. Topics include licensing, operations, escrow and management, managing licensees, risk management, laws, and issues.

Illinois State Requirement Details for Real Estate Managing Broker Pre-Licensing Education for Licensed Illinois Brokers
Hours Required by the State: 45 hours
- 30-hour course including the following topics: Brokerage Administration and Management, Licensing, Escrow and Residential Leasing Agent Management
- 15-hour Applied Management and Supervision course
Note: Broker pre-license and post-license education must be completed prior to Managing Broker education. All Managing Broker education must be completed within the year immediately preceding the filing of an application for a Managing Broker's license.
